What are your hobbies?
I have a love for digital film and enjoy creating all different forms of digital media. I am also a technology geek, and enjoy having a technical conversation about the newest invention. Finally, ever since the age of thirteen I’ve enjoyed creative writing and still do a little when I’m feeling contemplative.
Favorite books?
I like books by Francis Schaeffer, C.S. Lewis, and Tim Keller. I also enjoy biographies as well as books and studies on the culture and the different generations.
What is your favorite movie?
It depends. If I want to be respected, then I say that my favorite movie is It’s a Wonderful Life. I have a nostalgic connection with this film and love Jimmy Stewart. If I am okay with being mocked, then I answer that my favorite movie of all time is Back to the Future. It is very much an 80’s movie, but one of my favorites. Other than that, I honestly can’t resist anything with a “time element”.
Are you treated well by people of Mizzou, Kansas State and KU backgrounds given your Baylor background?
This is a complicated question. Since their departure to the SEC, we no longer play Mizzou, so this is a non-issue with Tigers. Kansas State is always a strong competitor for us in basketball and football. We win some and they win some. We typically beat KU fairly handedly in football, but KU destroys us without apology in basketball. All in all we feel loved despite our collegiate alliance. Sic ’em!
