We are so Glad that you are thinking about joining us for worship and fellowship! We know that visiting a new church can be a little overwhelming, so we want to do out best help you feel completely comfortable during your visit. Below are a few key things to help you get to know us as a church and to see what activities and classes we have during the week. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
Worship Services
8:30 AM In the Sanctuary | 11:00 AM In the Ministry Center
What To Expect
During our services you can expect biblically based worship and teaching that is Gospel driven and Christ centered. The worship service in the sanctuary, at 8:30 AM, draws upon the rich heritage of church hymns and readings in a choir led, traditional setting. The worship in the Ministry center at 11:00 AM celebrates newer expressions of worship as well as integrating important historical aspects of worship in a band-led, casual setting.
Come dressed comfortably. Feel free to check in at the engage table in the second floor lobby so we can greet you and be sure to stop by Gashland Grounds, our Sunday morning coffee service with coffee from Kansas City’s Eleos Ministry group.
Sunday School
Adult Sunday School
Offered from 9:45-10:45, join a number of Sunday School Classes for an opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible. Sunday School class descriptions can be found at the Engage Table in the second floor lobby, or HERE on the Adults page of our website.
Children’s Sunday School | Ages 4-5th Grade
From 9:45-10:45, Sunday mornings downstairs in the children’s wing. Children are divided by Grade Level, and Sunday School classes are led by two committed teachers.
Children’s Church | During Second Service, Ages 4-1st Grade
Children are excused to Children’s Church right before the sermon of the second service to rooms 121/122 adjacent to the ministry center. Children participate in a short lesson, discussion and play time.
Get Skooled | Grades 6-12
Middle School: Meets from 9:45-10:45 Sunday mornings in the Next Exit room, located in room 107 on the lower level. Girls and boys meet separately.
High School: Meet from 9:45-10:45 Sunday mornings in Holy Grounds Cafe on the lower level, room 106.
Wednesday Nights
Held on Wednesday evenings from september through May, Conversations is aimed at building community among the people of Gashland and to provide a comfortable place to invite a friend. A meal is provided, and is served, at 6:00-6:30 p.m. downstairs in the ministry center and the short teaching time and table discussions surrounding faith and culture begin at 6:40-7:45 p.m. following the meal.
Connect meets Wednesday nights in the chapel from 6:30-7:45 for a time of awesome games, dynamic worship, and in-depth lessons.
Pre-K – 5th grade meets for KidZone in their classes from 6:30-7:45 following the Wednesday night Conversations meal.
